Upon arrival in Hamburg, we will pick up the motorcycles in the afternoon. The remainder of the afternoon is free. Before the welcome dinner, we will have a short presentation about our tour, the Briefing. This will be followed by our welcome dinner.
Beginning of our Scandinavian adventure. We'll leave Hamburg and reach the Baltic Sea via Puttgarden, where we'll take a ferry across the Fehmarnsund to Rodby. We'll cross the border into Denmark. During the afternoon, we'll arrive at our destination, Copenhagen. Hamburg – Lübeck – Puttgarden – Rodby – Copenhagen
Copenhagen – Jönköping, 300 km. Today's route will take us to Jönköping. Since we're on a large island, we have to take another ferry. The ferry between Helsingör and Helsingborg brings us back to the mainland and, at the same time, to Sweden. We'll continue our journey through the Swedish forest and the lake district to Jönköping on Lake Vättern. Copenhagen – Helsingör – Helsingborg – Ljungby – Jönköping.
Jönköping – Stockholm, 360 km. Today we'll head to Stockholm. We'll drive all day through forests and lakes. Stockholm is located next to the Baltic Sea and is the capital of Sweden. Jönköping – Linköping – Norrkoeping – Stockholm
Stockholm, Rest Day Stockholm will be the site of our first rest day. There's plenty to do here: guided city bus tours, a canal ride, museums, or walking through the old city center. It's impossible to get bored here. Stockholm: Stockholm is the capital and largest city of Sweden, often known for its beauty, its buildings and architecture, its clean, open water, and its numerous parks, gardens, and canals. It is part of the group of cities commonly known as the "Venice of the North." Recommendation: • Vasa Museum: Here you can see a 17th-century warship (the Wasa) with a curious history: it sank freshly built, in 1628, 1,300 meters from the shipyards. The reason is simply that the ship was too unstable to sail. It was salvaged in 1961.
Stockholm – Mora, 310 km. After our rest day, we'll leave Stockholm behind to continue our journey north. Forests, lakes, and meadows will accompany us as we travel through the small, picturesque villages along the way. At the northern end of Lake Silja is Mora, our destination for today. Stockholm – Sala – Avesta – Raettvik – Mora
Mora – Trondheim, 420 km. Today we'll not only cross the border into Norway, but also reach the northernmost point of our journey, Trondheim. Norway welcomes us with a landscape unlike Sweden's, mountainous and rugged, broken by fantastic fjords. Mora – Saerna – Drevsjoe – Os – Trondheim
Trondheim – Andalsnes, 300 km. A wildly romantic day awaits. We begin our journey through the Norwegian fjords. The route takes us through curves between the sea and the mountains. The water is a stunningly blue color. Andalsnes is on the shore of Romalsdalfjord. Trondheim – Oppdal – Eresfjord – Andalsnes
Andalsnes – Geiranger, 180 km. Today is the highlight of our trip. We'll continue driving through fjords until we reach the stunning Trollstigen Pass, a pass with many hairpin bends. The kilometers to the summit are spectacular. From the top, we'll have a beautiful view. One of the most famous fjords awaits us, Geiranger. We'll spend the night in this area. Andalsnes – Trollstigen - Geiranger
Geiranger – Bergen, 260 km. Before leaving Geiranger behind, we'll stop at a viewpoint for a spectacular view of the fjord surrounded by mountains. A ferry ride along the Sognefiord awaits us. In the afternoon, we arrive in the picturesque city of Bergen. Geiranger – Olden – Larvik – Bergen
Bergen, Rest Day Today we will have our second rest day. We have time to explore the old town and the market. Bergen is the second largest city in Norway and is located on the southwest coast, in a valley formed by a group of mountains collectively known as syv fjell (the seven mountains). It is also widely recognized as one of Norway's most beautiful cities. A very popular tourist attraction is the open-air market along the harbor. Another very interesting tourist attraction is the funicular that goes up to Mount Fløyen, from which you can get an overview of the city and the seven mountains. From this point, it is possible to go hiking through a large natural area.
Bergen – Stavanger, 290km. Our journey continues mainly along the beautiful coast. The terrain here is very uneven, so we'll drive over bridges and ferries to cross the fjords. After a very entertaining day, we'll arrive in Stavanger. Bergen – Valevag – Aksdal - Stavanger
Stavanger – Kristiansand, 240 km. On the way to Kristiansand, we have the opportunity to pass by the southern cape of Norway. A lighthouse marks the southernmost point. We continue our route to Kristiansand, where the next day we will board an early ferry to leave Norway and reach Denmark. Stavanger – Moi – Mandal - Kristiansand
Kristiansand – Aarhus, 200 km. Our ferry trip will take two and a half hours and we'll cross the Skagerrak strait toward Hirthals, Denmark. Then we'll have 200 km to go until we reach Aarhus. Kristiansand – Hirthals – Aalborg - Aarhus
Aarhus – Hamburg, 330 km. This is our last day on the bikes. We'll cross the border into Germany and return the bikes in Hamburg. We'll have a farewell dinner to review the past two weeks. Aarhus – Kolding – Flensburg – Hamburg
