Patagonia 2026

You'll see llamas, guanacos, rheas, and playful Magellanic penguins; you'll eat spit-roasted lamb and southern salmon, not to mention Argentine barbecue or Tierra del Fuego king crab...

The weather conditions may be adverse, but the doomsday stamp in your passport will reward every effort!

Program:

Osorno:

Group arrival, pick-up at the airport and transfer to the hotel, followed by a welcome dinner.

Hornopirén:

Transfer from the hotel to the Motoaventura offices to pick up the motorcycles. From there, we'll follow the lake route, where we'll see the Osorno Volcano with its perfect, almost always snow-capped summit, Lake Llanquihue, and the Petrohué Falls, before continuing through the Reloncaví Sound toward Hornopirén.

The Board:

Today we'll take the ferry across the fjords to Caleta Gonzalo and then along the Carretera Austral toward La Junta. We'll have a few miles of gravel road. The Carretera Austral stretches for 1,200 kilometers in Chilean Patagonia.

Coyhaique:

Along the route, we'll see the Black Glacier and a beautiful trail of large nalca leaves. Turquoise lakes are prominent along the route.

Puerto Tranquilo:

This day we will sail by boat on General Carrera Lake to visit the Marble Cathedrals, formations of three limestone rocks, notable for the beauty of their columns and the intense blue of the lake waters that protect them.

Posadas Lake:

Crossing the Roballos Pass. This town is accessible only by private transport, along a mountain road.

La Angostura Ranch:

An authentic and traditional ranch located in a strategic location for travelers traveling along National Route 40. Its owners settled on these lands in 1878. Personalized service, regional dishes, and unforgettable stories add color to this typical inn.

El Calafate:

A very entertaining day, as we take on the "73 Damned" challenge before Tres Lagos. This challenge, along Route 40's more than 5,000 km stretch, is open to motorcyclists from all over the world. Lakes Viedma and Argentino, along with Mount Fitz Roy, make this a spectacular experience.

Day off:

Rest day in El Calafate to explore the Perito Moreno Glacier. The Perito Moreno Glacier is famous primarily for its impressive size, easy accessibility, and, above all, for the natural spectacle of its calving, a phenomenon that attracts tourists from all over the world. Furthermore, it is one of the few glaciers in the world that is not constantly retreating, maintaining a balance between its advance.

Puerto Natales:

Mainly because it is the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park, one of the natural wonders of the world.

Torres del Paine National Park:

Located at the end of the world in stunning Chilean Patagonia, Torres del Paine National Park, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the 8th Wonder of the World, is a world of unique contrasts. Its towering mountains conceal turquoise lakes, evergreen forests, and immense ice fields.

Sombrero Hill:

Today we'll cross the Beagle Channel by ferry to the large island of Tierra del Fuego. We'll stay at the only hotel in this oil-producing town.

Ushuaia:

Known as the "End of the World" and the southernmost city on the continent, it boasts very long summer days, with barely four hours of nighttime.

Free day:

Free day in Ushuaia to travel to the end of Route 3, to the southernmost post office in the world, to stamp your passport in Lapataia National Park. Also visit the prison built by the inmates themselves. Ushuaia is a legendary place for all travelers, as it is here that many begin or end their long journey across the continent, connecting this point with Alaska via the Pan-American Highway.

Rio Grande:

We will begin the return trip to Cerro Sombrero to finish our trip the next day in Punta Arenas.

Punta Arenas:

Last day of the trip to Patagonia. It is the largest city in Chilean Patagonia. The port of Punta Arenas, although prone to storms, was considered one of Chile's most important before the construction of the Panama Canal. It was used as a coaling station for steamships traveling between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
