Real-time reading

Important notes

Data availability
The available parameters depend on the motorcycle's make and model. The absence of certain data does not indicate a product defect, but rather limitations of the manufacturer's ECU.

Low-speed protocols
Motorcycles using the ISO 9141 K-line protocol exhibit high latency. In these cases, the OBD CG module is not recommended.

Port compatibility
You need to check if your motorcycle has a compatible OBD port. If not, you'll need to use the appropriate adapter.

BMW Motorcycles
No BMW model is compatible with this module. For these motorcycles, the CGRC LIN module must be used.

Installation instructions

1. Locate the motorcycle's OBD port, usually near the battery.
2. Connect the OBD CG module to the included cable.
3. Connect the assembly directly to the OBD port.
4. Secure the module in a stable position using adhesive or cable ties.
5. The installation is complete.

How to pair the OBD CG module

1. On the CHIGEE device, go to System Settings > Functions > DAB.
2. Select “Start pairing”.
3. Once linked, return to the main screen, go to “Meter” and select “DAB” to view the specific dashboard.

Compatibility

The OBD CG module depends on the OBD protocol and the connector type , not the specific model.

Due to the variety of OBD protocols and interfaces between manufacturers, universal compatibility cannot be guaranteed.

Direct compatibility

If the motorcycle uses the ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol and a 6-pin Euro 5 OBD connector, the module will work immediately.
