The ignition cutoff switch, which activates when the side stand is down, prevents numerous problems, as starting the motorcycle with the side stand extended can have very unpleasant consequences for both the rider and the motorcycle. For this reason, it makes sense to properly protect this exposed switch from damage caused by stones or falls. If the switch is damaged, the engine will not start. To prevent this, we replaced the original plastic part with a solid component.

The high level of protection is ensured by the rigidity of the 2 mm thick, angled, and partially perforated aluminum plate. This plate surrounds the exposed switch using a robust two-point mounting system and reliably protects it, especially during demanding off-road use. The protective cover is easily installed using the vehicle's two existing and easily accessible mounting points.
