Arrival to Munich. During the evening we will have our briefing and at night the welcome dinner at a traditional Bavarian Restaurant. 

Motorcycle pick up during the morning. From there we go straight to Lake Constance or Bodensee, which shares its waters between Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Short boat ride and then a visit to Mainau, the flower island. A beautiful paradise of plants and flowers.

Munich – Memmingen – Lindau – Friedrichshafen – Meersburg – Konstanz.

Border crossing to Switzerland in direction to Luzern. We will make a short stop in Vierwaldstätter Lake to appreciate its beauty.

Ride through Brüning Pass and along the shore of Lake Brienzer. 

Konstanz – Rapperswil – Luzern – Interlaken. 220 km

Here we will take a train ride to Jungfraujoch. This is the highest located train station in Europe and it is surrounded by ice, snow, and rocks. It also offers a great view to Jungfrau and Eiger.

We will make several stops at the top of the mountains to admire the views.

Another great day awaits: four border crossings, many mountain passes, and a lot of curves.

From Chamonix we will take a tunnel that goes through Mont Blanc. At the end of the tunnel we will reach Italy. However, we won’t stay long as we have to continue to Col de Petit Sant Bernhard in France.

In Bourg San Maurice we will reach the Route des Grandes Alpes. From there we will continue to Col de Iseran, the highest mountain pass in the Alps.

Before reaching Briancon, we have to cross Col de Mongenevre.

Chamonix – Bourg Sant Maurice –  Susa – Briancon. 230 km.

More mountain passes await for us: Col de Izoard, Col de Vars, Col de la Bonette, Col de Raspaillon. Then we continue along the Gorges de Valabres.

Briancon – Guillestre – Sant Sauveur s. Tinee – Valberg – Beuil – Annot. 230 km

We say goodbye to the French Alps to reach Provenza. Here smells like lavender and spices. Short ride to Verdon Gorges. More spectacular curves and landscapes. Once we reach Napoleon’s route, we will ride through Grasse and Cote d’Azur. 

We will spend two nights close to the harbor. 

Annot – Castellane – Canyon de Verdon – Grasse – Nizza. 250 km

Ride along the coast passing Genova before reaching Milan.

Nizza – Génova – Milán. 320km

Today’s destination is a famous ski resort area at the feet of the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze. Every year, more than 35.000 motorcycle riders from around the world gather here one weekend to celebrate the BMW Days.

Our ride to Garmisch will take us through Timmelsjoch, Stubai, and then Imst. This will be a short stop in Austria.

Merano – Paso de Rombo – Imst – Garmisch Partenkirchen. 200 km

During the morning of our rest day, we have an optional ride to Neuschwanstein Castle. 

During the evening, we will celebrate in Garmisch inside the big party tent from the BMW Days.
