Itinerary

During the afternoon we will have our briefing and later that day our welcome dinner.

Motorcycle pick up during the morning. Our tour can finally begin!

We leave Athens behind and head towards the northwest. Soon we will see Mount Parnassus in front of us. Today’s destination is the picturesque town of Arachova.

The day begins with a visit to the Oracle of Delphi. Delphi is the home of a famous ancient oracle who, with the help of a priest, gave Greek citizens advice from the supreme gods.

Delphi also features the Temple of Apollo, the Sanctuary of Athena, and Tholos.

The wide roads will eventually give way to more challenging switchbacks that take us to the mountains of Nafpaktia and Kaliakouda before reaching today’s destination.

Drive through Karpenisiotis Valley on a winding route through wild landscapes before reaching the Agrafa Mountains.

Meteora is one of the largest and most important Orthodox monastery complexes in Greece, located in nearly inaccessible sandstone peaks.

We start our day by taking a drive on the panoramic road around the Meteora area. The Pindos mountains offer endless winding routes and breathtaking scenery. These roads will lead us to the UNESCO World Heritage of Metsovo, a traditional northern Greek village known for its cheese and wine. Here we will make a brief stop, after which we will continue to Papigo.

Vikos Gorge is one of the deepest in the world.

We will make a brief stop in the small town of Monodendri. Soon after, we will continue through the Ipeiros mountain range and then to Greece’s west coast, to finally reach Lefkada.

First rest day.

Enjoy the white-sand beaches and crystal clear waters.

Leaving Lefkda, we soon find ourselves on the roads of the Peloponnese peninsula. We will occasionally stop to rest in pretty mountain villages. Our day ends in ancient Olympia, with a view of the mountains. The ancient Olympic games were held here, in Olympia.

We will explore the excavations of the Olympic Stadium, the Temple of Hera, and the Sanctuary of Zeus.

Today’s roads will take us up and downhill until we reach Kalamata. We follow the coastal road with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. On the way, we can make a stop at the Diros caves and in Sparta we can take a photo with the famous Spartan warrior Leonidas.

Today we embark on a journey through the eastern side of the Peloponnese to Monemvasia, a huge rock connected to the mainland and crowned by a fortress.

With almost 360 degree views of the sea and picturesque local stone village, Monemvasia is a great place to relax and gaze at the sea.

Second rest day.

A walk through the labyrinthine city with its wonderful views. Some paths lead to the top of the hill were the ruins of the castle are located.

Nafplio is protected by the Palamidi Fortress, which offers stunning views of the city and surrounding coastline.

Last day of motorcycle riding.

The varied landscape of the Peloponnese will bring us back to Athens. On the way we can make a brief stop at the Epidaurus Theatre, a World Heritage Site. Also, we will pass through the Corinth Canal, an artificial channel that connects the Aegean Sea with the Gulf of Corinth.

Return of the motorcycles and farewell dinner.
